through messy FTP sites. Plans and specs are sorted by
category and posted within your project site so everyone has access
to the most recent documents. As new plans are added or
existing plans changed, action items are added and email alerts are sent requesting review and
approval from the projects decision makers. The time it takes to
update plans and approve changes is reduced from weeks to hours.
Once final approval is given, all selected project members are notified that
new documents have been made available.

Before the construction phase of a project
starts, bids and submittals must be requested, managed, and
approved. Normally this consists of numerous phone calls,
faxes, emails, approvals, and comparisons. ePlanIt Project
Manager provides a
clean and consistent method for posting bid items, collecting and
comparing bids, and managing submittal approval. Bid items are posted and invitations are sent
to subs and vendors to come to your site to review plans and submit
bids. A
configurable bid form allows you to customize the information you
want to collect for each bid item. Once bids have been received
they can be sorted by price, category, tasks, or any combination of
criteria.

Integrated
into the ePlanIt Project Manager infrastructure is a full featured
scheduling environment. Project schedule overviews or detailed
tasks can be viewed by all project members needing access to
construction status. Schedules can be displayed in a variety
of formats includes Gant Charts, calendars, or start times.
Deadline alerts, milestones, rain days, and percentage complete are
all tracked and displayed based on real-time jobsite information.
From the bidding process through to completion, email alerts are
sent automatically to notify project members of upcoming start
dates, deadlines, and action items.
Securing data and restricting confidential
information is an essential component of ePlanIt Project Manager's design.
Using our multi-level security account access, you control who can
view or edit any part of your project site. When a contact is
invited to join the site they are given their own login account and
password which you assign to a permission (or security) group.
Permission groups can range from site administrators with access to
all information or visitors who can
only view a few selected parts of the project site. A General
Contractor might allow their subs to submit bids and RFI's but only
view schedules and plans. You can also track who is currently
logged into your site, who edited any information, or view any member's
account access history.
ePlanIt Project Manager offers the same communication
and collaboration advantages for your office staff as well as you
projects. Built into your project site is a separate
administration area where you can manage proposals, contracts, bids,
bonds, draws and much more. A special asset tracking section
is designed to coordinate all your equipments tracking, allocation,
status, rentals, or any custom category you need. The back-office
administration area uses the same technology that you use for
project management so scheduling, communication, collaboration, and
document management are easy and efficient.

environment so you can view and control construction cameras and see
exactly which workers are on your project and how may hours they
